Hey! I look better than I thought!
Arriving in Trieste on Wednesday, the weather was beautiful and sunny. The following two days it rained. I have never seen so many great umbrellas! If I didn’t already have one I like, I’d be shopping for one here.
What I will be shopping for: shoes!
My little guy and I were just discussing umbrellas today. He got a new Bob the Builder one for Easter and he asked me what my umbrella looked like – and I realized that I didn’t have one! Mine broke 2 years ago! I wish I could umbrella shop with you!
Carrie – that would be so much fun! Tomorrow we are going to Venice, so it will be later in the week before we get to go shopping. It’s entirely possible that I will consider the prices too high to consider.

It sounds like you’re having a great time! I notice that the weather there looks a tad gray, so you’re not missing out on our lovely “spring” break weather. 🙂

Thanks! I’m so glad we went to Venice yesterday – it was sunny iwth a high of 75 (there I go again, speaking in Relient K lyrics). Today it’s drizzly and I’ve heard wind and thunder, too.
