“This is the same top/jeans that I wore in the “Is Black Slimming” post you did awhile back. My hubby and I were just going out on a date, but he wanted to stop and take some pictures of our hayfield on the way. He asked if I’d get in a picture or two. ~Jody
I’m a classic contemporary with a twist of romantic.
Casual Wear (we were going out for a supper date)
Knit Top: JC Penney’s on sale for $17
Dark wash Jeans: Boot-cut style at GAP for $50 (I wear them for a couple years)
Sandals: Joseph Siebel for $100 (I have feet that need good shoes, which
last me, but I saw the same sandal style at Walmart for about $20 by Dr.
Scholl’s)”
Thank you, both to Jody for participating and to Jody’s husband for taking her out and taking the picture!
I like the design placement in the top where the area over the bust has a denser, smaller pattern.
I hope you guys were going to go out two-stepping, ’cause it looks like a spiffy outfit for that!
I have black Dr. Scholl leather sandals from Walmart – on sale for under $10 – and they’re unbelievably comfortable and I can walk miles in them on concrete. I’m going to go tomorrow and see if I can scare up the same pair in the tan and the white. I’m totallly willing to pay full price.
Shoes are an investment. This past week I was on my feet so much that even with my wonderful Chacos my feet hurt for a couple of days after I got back. I definitely recommend spending the money for good shoes, and saving money on your other items!
It’s even better when you can friend multi-mile shoes for a small price!
