Ooohhh…I love that bag! The class! The function! It has my name written all over it. What? You don’t see it? Look a little closer, because it just about screams “Jenna!” Think that would double as a diaper bag? 😉 I’m off to check it out…
Why yes, I do think that would be totally cute for a fashionable, functional all-in-one type bag. (My daughter was equally enthusiastic, and she doesn’t even need a diaper bag). I hope you like the dark brown, too; I think that’s all they have left.
If you get it, let me know if the strap thing comes out. How cute would that be? You could tie a scarf or ribbon of your choice around it. Now THAT would scream “Jenna!” 🙂
Hey this is multi-purpose for me. I have a Gap card I can use. And it’s a purse! What do you think about the Braided Satchel? I don’t even see that one (in your pic) in clearance or regular. I like some of the regular collections, too. I might look if I go shopping tomorrow.
What a bummer, that one must have sold out! And you must not have found a purse when you went shopping the other day.
I think the Braided Satchel is okay (I sure wouldn’t be afraid of the colors!), and for the same price there are some other cute ones in the regular collections. My daughters have had good success with Gap fabric bags.
For me, I would choose either the

for a diaper bag (hope those links work:). Bags are a very personal thing.

Jennifer, this bag is listed under maternity sale. Go figure! However, it was a bit of a pain to purchase. The first time it disappeared out of my shopping bag and off of the page! A few hours later I checked again (I don’t give up easily), and they had put it back up on the web page. My advice? If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. And I did succeed in ordering it finally!
And, Rebecca, I really liked the “small signature canvas tote” too! Just not the price. Did you see the metallic ones like it? I almost ordered this one in dusty pink: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=29923&pid=441071

Metallic! It works with everything. 🙂 Actually the one I liked was the brown print, but a bunch of them are cute!
Okay…So I did get the bag like forever ago…And I L.O.V.E. it! I get so many compliments, and it’s so versatile, Yay! And, yes, the tie strap deely-whopper does come out (I’m pretty sure); I just haven’t tried it yet because I’m afraid I won’t be able to get the cool knot back in! 🙂
