Last night we got over 4 inches of beautiful new snow. Today I have a parent meeting for a youth theatre group my daughter is in. What to wear?
Normally I would wear the uniform: nice jeans and sweater, topped by a blazer. But I don’t have any “everyday” boots (long story, perhaps another post).
For Christmas this year my hero asked for these boots, to match mine that I’ve had for several years. How romantic!
Long story short: I’m wearing a brown merino wool turtleneck, topped by an oatmeal heather cashmere v-neck “boyfriend” sweater; jeans tucked into my Sorels, puffy down coat.
What’s it like in your neck of the woods today?
Sounds like a perfect outfit for the day!
It was -20 first thing this morning (-5 F), but -29 with windchill (-20.2 F). It’s up to -15, but the windchill makes it -26. So it’s kinda cold!
And Sorels are the perfect cold weather boot! I’m scooting around the corner to the store shortly — leotards under my jeans, Gap 3/4 sleeve black cotton cashmere blend sweater, Mr. Bellissimo’s coat, dorky hat, Stuart Weitzman slip on boots.
Umm…It’s nothing like that here! It’s about 80 degrees with a slight breeze. If I wasn’t already planning to meet up with a couple of friends this afternoon, I might have talked my husband into going to the beach. My outfit is nothing special, but I am wearing sandals. I love it!
Oh, and I think it IS romantic that your husband asked for boots to match yours! How great is that?!
