I’m Declaring a Tie

Thank you to both Jenn at Frugal Upstate and Wendy at Of(f) the deep end for having operational links to the new blog within the first several hours. Blooming Lily and Ma Petite Chou have made the changes, but they are not operational yet.

Thanks, ladies. Now here’s to me climbing the steep learning curve of a new blogging program …

This just in … Faking Good Breeding. If you have not checked it out yet, why not visit now? Tell Meg that Rebecca said hi!

  1. Thanks for your encouragement, Wendy! I’m sure you’re right, today I learned how to insert a link and how to set my clock (which is why this post and the previous one are out of order) and how to insert a picture, albeit not the way I was used to with Blogger.

When I think — it’s only been about 16 months since I saw my first blog!

  2. Thank you both!

Elleabelle, thank you for the compliment. You might be surprised how well-dressed many of the moms here in my city are. Not so in the ‘burbs.

  3. What city do you live in? I live in the burbs of Cleveland and I can attest that there are NOT many well dressed moms here. Major pet peeve of mine. It takes the same amount of time to put on a nice shirt and jeans as it does to put on sweats!! Have a great weekend!

  4. Consider your link updated! Nice new wordpress blog. You may want to make sure you pick categories for your posts so that it doesn’t always show up “uncategorized” Should be lots of fun!

  5. Elleabelle ~ I was surprised when I moved here too. But I find the closer I am to downtown, the better the ladies dress. Most of my life is lived downtown and in the nicer established neighborhoods close to downtown. When I go shopping or out to dinner further out, it’s just as you say.

“It takes the same amount of time to put on a nice shirt and jeans as it does to put on sweats!!”

Perfectly true, but it takes alot longer to find some that fit and buy them.

Man ~ he hee, that is what we call you, isn’t it?

Thanks for fixing your link, for the compliment, and the advice. One of the major considerations in making this switch is the categories; now I just need to do it! It’s one of those “eating an elephant” type projects. But, you are right, it should be fun.

    Blessings!

  6. A lot of people call me MIn!

Tell me about the amount of work to categorize things! I’ve been running a WordPress blog since April 2006, and still have returned to categorize everything since when I used to be at Bravenet, and updating them all to the new look!
