  1. That must be my “sporty/casual/functional” part. I love that the skirt has the shiny band at the hem, it makes it perfect for the type 8 figure. It even looks like the cargo pockets would camouflage, rather than high-light, saddlebags.

I don’t know that I would have thought to wear dark tights with those colors, but the way it’s done, it really works!

  2. I don’t know that I would say I was smarter than you, Jennifer. Wendy didn’t like the skirt either. It’s fun that we think differently, how boring it would be if we all liked the same things.

  3. Boy am I glad that you people will all still like me, even if we don’t like the same clothes. I am so totally out-numbered! No one here at home likes the skirt either, not even casual-elegant.

I’m happy to report, I still like it!

  4. Rebecca, if we all liked exactly the same things it would be a boring world!!

The band around the bottom of the skirt is beautiful, but it must hit exactly right, or walking and stair climbing becomes a huge issue. Being short, and particularly short in the leg, it would hit me on the calves.

On me cargo pockets just don’t work. I like them on others. I have a friend who tried on the same silk cargos I did … she looked great, I looked ridiculous. She is two inches taller, but significantly longer in the leg.

  5. To be honest, I hadn’t considered stair-climbing.

And I have never been able to get cargo pockets to work, either. However, if I ever had the opportunity to try this one, I would. Just to see if it, on the off chance, it worked.

It is amusing to try on things with a friend like that! 🙂
