Tricia at bits and bobbins has published a three-part less is more, downsize and declutter your wardrobe project:
- part 1: getting ready
- part 2: the sorting process
- part 3: maintaining the less is more!
At the risk of being mocked out of town, oh wait! – I was going out of town anyway, I find myself thinking perhaps my dream of having each hanger in my closet labeled is not so far-fetched after all.
My dream: having a specific spot for each item labeled by lifestyle segment and part of wardrobe. Empty hangers become my shopping list.
That’s a brilliant idea, labeling hangers so you know what goes where!
But be warned, I’m not the best person to listen to about things like this. When I bought a labeling machine a few years back, I ended up in Label Addicts Anonymous in just a few short months.
OK, I exaggerate slightly, but I did have to put it away because everyone who visited my house was commenting on it. I think if my labeling frenzy had gone on much longer my friends actually would’ve staged an intervention!
Still, if no-one except Mr BQ (the King of all Neat Freaks who makes me look slovenly) sees those labeled hangers, I bet I can get away with it 😉
LOL
I bet if you did label your hangers, Mr BQ would consider it quite attractive! 😉
