Last week I overlooked another friend of ours, Sales Rack Raider, whose jewelry creations are available to purchase. See her etsy store here.
Mom (kid) humor, from Life in a Shoe:
“Canadians? Are those the people that are supposed to be funny?”
You can add your kid humor to her Mr Linky. Marchauna should.
Humor makes me happy. So does getting free perfume. That’s right. Thanks to Amy at MotherLoad I just walked in to the retailer formerly known as Bon Marche, sashayed up to the Clinique counter, and left with my own little bottle of Happy-ness. It’s a nice fragrance. With a name like that, it just had to be, didn’t it?
BTW, a long time ago, Jess asked for maternity style stuff. I haven’t forgotten. (The guilt – it’s unbearable!) But now I want you to know that “short-sleeve pants” are available in maternity too! Chingow! Better late than never.
And finally, this Friday, I thought I would model my new short-sleeved pants for a Fashion Lab. Dress ’em up, dress ’em down. See if it really works. What do you think?
Totally giggling over here at the Canadian comment!!
Trying to figure out if I would like the short sleeved pants with a long top (since maternity pants are often long). I definitely am a fan of untucked shirts when one is pregnant. I don’t like the look in the picture with the shirt tucked in. That’s just me though.
I think modeling your short sleeved pants is a great idea! I can’t wait to see!
Wasn’t that hilarious? I especially thought our Canadian friends would enjoy that.
I don’t like the top tucked in either, but I guarantee it will work with a long maternity top. Here’s why: From shoulder to crotch is approximately 3 head lengths, from crotch to knee is approximately 2. It’s the same proportion as a long jacket and knee length skirt.
I just modeled for the pictures for the short sleeved pants post. That length of shorts is really easy to work with!
Never thought of that. Guess that’s why you run this blog and not me. *heh* You really do have a gift for this, ya know.
Thanks for the shout-out on my store, Rebecca!
Can’t wait to see your outfit for Friday. I only have one pair of knee-length shorts, and they are cargo shorts. Maybe it’s time to be on the lookout for a cheap pair of dressy ones…
Heck, I thought we were supposed to be _polite_! 😉
Yup. Dress ’em up or down. Really does work …
Yes, Wendy, but you are funny!
