Who are these people?
Women on average say they would be willing to give up sex for 15 months for a closet full of new apparel.
They cannot possibly be married.
The survey, which was not scientific and was conducted online, also suggested that clothes often wear better than relationships. FoxNews.com.
Is this more funny or sad?
Many thanks to Blest with sons, who sent me the link, and whose handmade jewelry, available on her site, would make a fine Valentine’s Day gift. Unless you are inclined to buy CLOTHES, which seems like it might just be the way husbands should go, considering the aforementioned article.

Uh. NO! NOT EVEN. obviously those women have the wrong men.
This amazes me too…But as a pw, I’ve been stunned at how many married couples come for counseling who are living like roommates–and have been sometimes for years.
I’m laughing, but it’s not really funny. It’s sad… I would love a closet full of new apparel, but I sure wouldn’t (umm) sacrifice the other :::blushes:::
I think bitterness, greed, selfishness, hurt, etc. could definitely bring a person to think that way though.
Somehow I figured you fine ladies would see it that way. Just goes to show our interest in what to wear isn’t completely out of control. 🙂
I suppose it’s true that hurts within a marriage can bring about that kind of life (I’m sure I know people like that), but that sure isn’t what God had in mind! That said, I am sure that casual, impersonal connection, or one without caring and commitment, would be much easier to forego.
Wow, eigthteen months?! Eighteen days for a new wardrobe – okay. BUt no longer.
Well I dunno…It would be a great deal for military wives! We have to go without our husbands anyway…might as well get new clothes out of it! 😉
