No, I don’t really expect you to buy this bag for $425. But it’s beautiful, isn’t it? Researching purse trends at the request Jennifer at Snapshot, I ran across this one (click the picture if you would like to buy).
Paranthetically: this blog needs some pink, doesn’t it? Well, re-design will have to wait, at least until I am done with categorizing.
What are your thoughts on handbags?
Update (January 23, 2007):Â Designer Lesa Wallace’s boyfriend Richard was kind enough to drop by here with great news:Â This bag comes with or without pockets! How romantic is that?

Light pink handbag. Lovely. Meaningful. But generally handbags that are light in colour and I don’t get along …
I’m going to consider your question, and get back to you. (Because I’m sure you know, I have lots of thoughts on handbags!)
actually, I think I tend to like bags that are a bit more sleek rather than having so many visible pockets. hmm. . .
Rebecca, I thought so much about handbags I posted about them …
I have to agree with Jenn on this one. However, my “handbag” is now a diaper bag, so… Suffice it to say that I’m not up on what’s current in the handbag world!
I am so proud of a recent thrift store find–it is my perfect bag! Wide strap that is the perfect length for slinging over the shoulder and fitting in at your waist. It’s a rounded, I guess hobo bag shape, but not sloppy. It’s got one zip across the top and one zip down the front seam–the perfect place for segregating my cell phone.
Congratulations, Karen! I know it can be done, but I haven’t had much success finding a good bag at the thrift store. That’s okay, I save enough on my clothes that I can afford to buy a bag. I still look, though …
Wow, what a lovely bag. I love the soft pale pink. Lately I’m very into bags that are in lighter hues. Perhaps I have too many black and brown bags. Or perhaps I wear too much black and other dark colors so I need a light colored bag to brighten up the whole look. I wish I could get my hands on this bag.
By the way, yes, I think a touch of pink on the blog would be beautiful!
