By now you have probably heard that Pantone announced its 2015 Color of the Year: Marsala. When I saw that, my first thought was “not for me, thanks!” Then I thought, “somebody who is a better style blogger than I will undoubtedly do a “How to Wear Marsala” post. Find that here.
While I think that alot of that particular shade would be tough for me to wear, I can see it on quite a few of my friends and family. It’s a bit muted for me, but the “inspired by Marsala” colors make me happy. I love the color combos too. I think I can work with this.
Yes, I think we will see some great burgundies that will work for you. I particularly liked the look of the Marsala used in a print worn with neutrals. That kind of color usage would really highlight brown eyes. 🙂
