So I did start working on the pewter taffeta, but I really realized recently that I want yellow. And I’m not finding it. Yesterday, my hairstylist said she thought mustard yellow would be nice. Today I got an email about Kohls clearance. I ordered this for $24. 🙂
I love the color. Hope the dress pleases. Don’t you live in Seattle where Angie is always complaining that if you blink you miss the rare warm day? Do you have plans for any kind of topper for this? What length, if so?

Actually, I don’t live in Seattle, but there is still a concern about a topper. I live in Spokane, our weather is similar to mountain weather, but less dramatic; typically we have thunderstorms in early June and showers through the 4th of July, but this year everything is a few weeks early, so I am hopeful.
When the dress arrives, I will try it on with all the jackets I have. Hopefully something will work. The reception is going to be outside. I guess I am thinking either black & white or neutral & metallic, hip-length jacket with structured waist, but I am open to any suggestions. =D
