  1. My hero didn’t say anything, which in this case I take as a good sign. I think he thinks I look normal. 🙂

The funny thing is, while the previous cut took off more length, this cut was clearly more noticeable. The last one, only one friend even noticed – and she reads the blog. Yesterday, the first person I saw after my haircut was my pastor and the first thing out of his mouth was, “you got a haircut!” *chuckle* I don’t remember or care whether or not there was a compliment attached – I got one from his wife later. 🙂

I’m so glad you both like it!

  2. I love it when you post photos of yourself. This cut looks so good on you! keep it! Can you tell me more about your frames? I adore them! also like your top and jacket colors….

  3. Here’s the link to the frames: http://www.framesdirect.com/framesfp/Ted-Baker-mdpftb/r.html

I’ve had them for a few years now, but my prescription has stayed the same (other than having to wear reading glasses, which are the black and white half rimless ones). I’m committed to keeping these until bigger glasses come back in style (or these are completely worn out), which shouldn’t be too long now with the whole Sarah Palin thing. 😉

  4. The Kawasaki’s that Sarah wears are so good looking, but cost a fortune. I think yours are classic and I’d wear that shape forever. They are especially flattering on you. I need new glasses for distance, like at the movies, and will investigate these. Thanks!

  5. I agree; it looks “normal” which means it suits you and looks good. I would still love to see you in a more dramatic cut, but that’s probably not in the cards is it? xoxo

  6. Beth’s comment about the dramatic cut intrigues me. I’d love it if you could describe or link to a suitable dramatic cut, Beth. Did you mean sharp geometric? Rebecca has nice strong features and a strong personal outlook. Might be fun to see her photo in a dramatic wig example.

  7. Rebecca, I think the difference between these pictures and your profile picture are amazing. The afters show you with a fresher and more confident look. But I think you may well be right — you may be able to go edgier!

  8. All this choosing a hairstyle business is so frustrating! The point really is about 80% personality and 20% the rest (hair type and face), isn’t it?

Well, again I say, the joy of it all is that, even if I don’t get excited about any particular look, my hair normally looks good (as in I don’t have to wear a paper bag over my head). lol

  10. I tried to get a peek at your new do at church on Sunday to no avail. 🙂 I like it! Can’t wait to see if you take it shorter… though I think it looks great as is.
