I've realized that shopping close to home is just as good, if not better than driving a long way. The other day at the mall closest to my house I saw a stylish mom and daughter buying 2 gorgeous spring coats, and I didn't think the nearest store's selection was that good. I think I've underestimated things. Before kids, I tried driving to the Chicago area a few times, thinking that would make for better shopping, when really, it was mostly a waste of time sitting in the car. Sounds like a long drive to Old Navy. I’ve realized that shopping close to home is just as good, if not better than driving a long way.
