This year it was a zipper cable cardigan in ivory; I'll certainly use it, although I probably wouldn't choose it for myself. My dh gave me a wonderful softshell ski jacket in a gorgeous shade of plum! That will definitely get a lot of wear, but we need some snow! :-) My parents give me a sweater every year, with about a 50% success rate. It was amazing, just because she is very picky and herself has trouble buying pants, and of course it is difficult to buy clothes for others. But I think that if you really pay attention and know the person well, and give it some thought, giving clothes to others can work. But, you know, you should always include a gift receipt whenever possible just in case.
